This week’s update for the Nintendo Switch eShop is packed with nostalgic SNES gems, some fresh tunes for Nintendo’s music app, tempting sales, and a bunch of new games. Let’s dive into what’s available.
Kicking off the additions to the Switch Online library, we have four classic SNES titles from Koei’s heyday. Leading the charge are Nobunaga’s Ambition and its follow-up, Nobunaga’s Ambition: Lord of Darkness. Both games transport players to Japan’s Sengoku era, an age filled with strategy and conquest.
Next in line is Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire, set against the backdrop of ancient China during a time of turmoil and ambition. This game challenges players to strategize and unify the land amidst the chaos of powerful warlords clashing for supremacy.
Also joining the lineup is Uncharted Waters: New Horizons, a journey across European seas where players engage in trade and exploration, originally released in 1993.
Over on the Nintendo Music app, users can now enjoy a set of 23 tracks from Kirby and the Forgotten Land. While it’s just a part of the complete soundtrack, hopefully, the rest will drop soon.
In terms of new games on the eShop, one highlight is Which Way Up: Galaxy Games. We recently chatted with the developers at Turtle Flip Studio on the Pure Nintendo Podcast, so if you’re curious, give that interview a listen and get ready for our upcoming review as well.
So, that’s your eShop lineup for this week. Any titles catching your eye? Drop us a note about what you’re playing.
