Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the intense survival shooter, has already hit a sales milestone by selling over a million copies. This impressive feat was announced by its developer, GSC Game World, via Twitter just two days after its release on November 20th.
Contributing to its widespread reach, the game is also available on Xbox’s Game Pass subscription service, offering even more players the opportunity to venture into the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone.
“It’s no surprise it’s feeling a bit crowded in the Zone,” remarked the Ukrainian development team. “With a million sales under our belt and more players diving into the artifact hunt through Game Pass, this is just the beginning of an incredible journey. The Heart of Chornobyl grows stronger with each new player.”
Their heartfelt message to the gaming community closed with a warm “Thank You, stalkers!” reflecting the enthusiasm and support the game has received. The tweet echoes the sentiment, emphasizing the thriving and growing community joining the adventure.
