This game draws inspiration from the popular Superhot franchise, embracing that iconic time-bending mechanic where time only advances as you move. It offers players a chance to choreograph dazzling gunplay sequences akin to the slick moves seen in John Wick.

Mark your calendars for December 12th; that’s when Action Hero will debut on Quest 2 and more advanced headsets. The game casts you as the main character across five different cinematic experiences, each belonging to a unique genre.

The developers explain that each of these movie-inspired adventures is divided into four acts, with five scenes in each. Gamers will navigate these scenes by taking down enemies and dodging obstacles in dramatic slow motion. You’ll need sharp reflexes and tactical thinking to progress.
