Sony has decided not to make a PlayStation Network (PSN) account mandatory for accessing certain games on PC. Instead, they’re encouraging PC gamers who play titles like the already-released God of War Ragnarök and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered to sign in to a PSN account to enjoy some extra perks. These include features such as trophies and managing friends, as shared by Asad Qizilbash, the senior VP and head of publishing at Sony Interactive Entertainment. Additionally, players can look forward to some enticing in-game content bonuses.
Speaking of bonuses, some cool in-game items will be up for grabs. And mark your calendars because Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is hitting Windows PC via Steam this Thursday. Looking ahead, fans of The Last of Us can expect the remastered version of Part 2 to make its debut in April.
