Hey there! Konami has just dropped some exciting news: they’re hosting a special Silent Hill livestream later this week, offering a sneak peek at Silent Hill f. The title, interestingly enough, seems quite content to tell big flashy capital letters to take a backseat.
While we’ve had a taste of Silent Hill content lately—thanks largely to the impressive Silent Hill 2 Remake created in partnership between Konami and Bloober Team—fans have noticed the absence of a new major installment in the series for quite some time. Silent Hill f is here to fill that chilling gap.
The transmission, which promises to be quite the event, is slated for March 13 at 10 PM GMT. That’s 3 PM if you’re on Pacific Time, and 6 PM for those on Eastern Time. We’ll be sure to update this post with the livestream link once it’s live, but to be safe, head over to the official Silent Hill YouTube channel to catch all the action.
So, what can you expect to see? Konami has teased that, “This Transmission will uncover SILENT HILL f,” and game director Al Yang expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “Excited to finally be able to share what we’ve been cooking.”
A little throwback: Silent Hill f was first teased during a Silent Hill stream back in 2022, alongside the SH2 remake I’ve mentioned. Neobards Entertainment is developing this installment, with its narrative crafted by Ryukishi07, who is renowned for his work on the When They Cry visual novel series.
Our resident Silent Hill guru, Kelsey, had some thoughts on the original teaser for Silent Hill f, which featured an eerie floral hat. She described it as “rather fascinating and stylised,” so if spine-chilling games are up your alley, this showcase is one to mark on your calendar.
Curious about Silent Hill f? We’d love to hear what you’re looking forward to. Share your thoughts below!
