Reports suggest Xbox Game Pass to include two additional Activision Blizzard games in February

Speculation suggests that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, Heroes of the Storm, and EA Sports Madden NFL 25 are slated to join Xbox Game Pass next month. Notably, Heroes of the Storm, a Blizzard favorite, is restricted to the PC, indicating it’ll likely anchor itself to PC Game Pass. On the other hand, Madden NFL 25 is rumored to bolster the EA Play roster available to Game Pass Ultimate followers.

This information trickled down from Insider Gaming, where known leak source eXtas1s hinted at these February add-ons. They suggest Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time and Heroes of the Storm could be the next Activision Blizzard arrivals, while EA Sports Madden NFL 25 would expand the EA Play selection for those with Game Pass Ultimate.

Hints have been swirling since December that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time would step into the Game Pass lineup. This 2020 release embarks you and Crash’s sibling, Coco, on a platform-hopping quest to rescue the multiverse.

Madden NFL 25, the latest American football installment, debuted for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One in June 2024. Given EA’s pattern, where games often appear on EA Play within a year post-launch, it’s plausible Madden NFL 25 could land for Game Pass Ultimate members come February.

Heroes of the Storm is a bit of an anomaly here since it’s a free-to-play MOBA exclusive to PC. Should it join PC Game Pass, it may bestow Game Pass subscribers with various in-game perks, paralleling Blizzard’s approach with Overwatch 2’s incentives.
