The tactical first-person shooter, Ready or Not, has achieved an impressive milestone by selling over nine million copies. Developer Void Interactive recently shared that it’s fast approaching ten million units sold on Steam. Originally released as an Early Access title in 2021, the game reached its full version debut in December 2023.
So far, all sales have been exclusively on Steam, but exciting news is on the horizon. Ready or Not is set to make its way to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and the Epic Games Store shortly.
Julio Rodriguez, CEO of Void Interactive, expressed his enthusiasm: “We’re thrilled to announce that our tactical shooter will finally be available on PlayStation and Xbox this summer. As we near the ten million mark on Steam, we’re eager to share this experience with console gamers around the globe.”
In a LinkedIn update, Rodriguez also hinted at some new projects in the pipeline, mentioning that the team is busy working on a couple of titles yet to be announced. The growth of Void Interactive has been substantial; from its modest beginnings with just three or four team members in 2017, it has now expanded to a workforce of over 70 by 2024. This journey of growth and success paints a promising picture for the company’s future endeavors.
