Best Buy was quick off the mark, offering this option in both the United States and Canada. Over in the UK, ShopTo is asking for a mere penny to register your interest. However, they’ve made it clear that while this small fee puts you in line, it’s not a guarantee of stock. If they can’t fulfill your order, don’t worry—they’ll kindly refund that 1p.
We’re all playing the waiting game when it comes to when pre-orders will truly be available. However, mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 2, 2025. That’s when Nintendo will host a Nintendo Direct focused on the Switch 2, revealing more details about what’s in store for the console.
