Nintendo eShop Releases – March 27, 2025 – Updates

With the end of my stash of gold coins looming and my glacial progress through Xenoblade Chronicles X, my relationship with the eShop feels like it’s in the deep freeze—enough to make Wendy’s proud.

In case you missed it last week, they snuck in a Match 3 puzzle called Senkyu over in the Archives. Also, just a little nudge: earning My Nintendo Gold coins from purchases is officially ending tonight. So if you’ve got codes from the Humble Store or Best Buy lined up, grab full value off them regardless of whether the games are discounted. But if you’re looking for new games to spend those coins on this week, pickings are slim. We’ve got a Doraemon-themed Picross game taking the spotlight, along with Gal Guardians presented by PQube, and Nightdive’s remake of the 1995 PC adventure classic, I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream. My only past experience with it was a non-working demo from a PC Gamer magazine disc that we had when I was a kid.

Now, being the last full week of the fiscal quarter, there’s a load of releases hitting the shelves. I’ve somehow only managed to squeeze out an hour and a half on Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive since its launch. At this pace, I might be wrapping up my review sometime after the universe cools down, so thanks for that, folks.

Consistent with the way things have been, this last stretch before the fiscal year’s conclusion sees a traffic jam of new releases bathing in the light of the eShop. If you’re out there trying to make your gold coins count, now’s the time to strike—or hold and wait for something compelling.
