This clever tweak by Yui ensures that when a player dies in a multiplayer session, they simply reappear at the last bonfire they used. Your game progression stays intact, too. A single player resting at a bonfire resets the game’s world for the whole group, and once you head back to your version of Lordran, any progress made counts for everyone involved. You can even expand your co-op party to include up to five players.

Yui has also taken steps to adjust the game’s balance, offering a challenge that scales with the number of players joining in.
