We’ll need to exercise just a bit more patience before diving into the latest achievements in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The highly anticipated Secrets of the Spires story pack has hit a slight snag, pushing its release date back a couple of days. Fortunately, the delay is nothing major, as the DLC will now be available on November 28.
Originally slated for November 26, the development team behind Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora cited a “critical last-minute issue” as the reason for the postponement. They took to social media to express, “We understand many of you are eagerly anticipating this new adventure in the Western Frontier, and we’re sorry for the delay. Our main focus is to ensure we deliver a high-quality, enjoyable, and unforgettable experience for all players.” You can expect the DLC to start rolling out on November 28 at 8am UTC / 9am CET / 12am PT.
Details on what’s in store with this new story pack are still somewhat sparse. What we do know is that we’ll be heading to a fresh mountainous region called the Spires of the Clouded Forest, where aerial combat will take center stage. Additionally, players can look forward to five new achievements tied to completing quests and unlocking Sky Hunter skills.
Although the new launch is set for November 28 instead of the 26th, it’s reassuring that the delay isn’t lengthy. Given the growing list of Xbox games pushed out of 2024, it’s a relief that this DLC remains on track for release soon.
