Fortnite Enthusiast Crafts Clay Version of Chapter 2 Remix Map

An avid Fortnite enthusiast has deftly recreated the beloved Chapter 2 map of the game using just clay. This impressive sculpture meticulously includes nearly all the renowned spots from the Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix island map, which players first got to explore back in November 2024.

Although Fortnite hasn’t even reached its decade milestone yet, it has already left players nostalgic for its early days. Epic Games has cleverly tapped into this nostalgia through various Fortnite Remix events. This particular remix of Chapter 2 not only revives the classic map but also infuses it with fresh content, like exciting collaborations with hip-hop icons such as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Ice Spice.

On this sculptural journey through the Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix map, Reddit user SMPlushFilms took on the task of painstakingly creating a clay model of the island. This hand-crafted masterpiece represents the map as seen from a bird’s-eye view, beautifully capturing the essence of the famous landing spots and locales cherished by long-time Fortnite players.

Heading the creative endeavor, SMPlushFilms spent almost a week bringing the sculpture to life. They employed a variety of colored clay to craft the island’s many features, including rivers, roads, and other landscape elements. Notably, the model features iconic areas such as the tranquil Weeping Woods, the central Snoop Dogg’s Doggpound mansion, and the industrial Steamy Stacks up in the northeast. Delving into topographical accuracy, SMPlushFilms also skillfully rendered the towering mountain overseeing Misty Meadows as well as the creatively renamed Fortnite Shark Island, which, thanks to rapper Ice Spice, now goes by “Ice Isle.”

The sculpture is almost complete, save for the Rig—an enormous offshore industrial site located near Slurpy Swamp’s coast. SMPlushFilms acknowledged the absence of this element, reassuring fans that it will be included in a forthcoming update.

Members of the Fortnite community on Reddit were genuinely impressed with SMPlushFilms’ dedication and artistic talent. Many noted how the map’s locations were instantly recognizable even when depicted with minimal details, likening this work to another fan creation that reimagined the Elden Ring map in a simple, low-poly 3D style.
