It’s an exciting time here in the U.S. with the release of the new Mario & Luigi game, and we’re making room for all the action-packed fun by sifting through the games we’ve been exploring lately.
Right at the beginning of the show, Alex and Casey dived into the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, a fresh app that combines collecting and battling, and it’s turning out to be a blast. We then delve into Slay the Princess, a visual novel that intriguingly mixes horror, drama, and metacommentary to create a unique narrative experience. Following that, Perry brings up a trio of quirky classic platformers: Aero the Acro-Bat, Aero the Acro-Bat 2, and Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel. To wrap things up, Alex shares his impressions of Sonic X Shadow Generations on the Switch. It’s a fantastic game, though the port is just so-so!
