This year, dive into a whole new world with Animal Crossing: New Horizons at its exciting integration with SEA LIFE centers across the UK. Nintendo’s beloved life simulation game invites gamers to craft their personal paradise on a deserted island, engaging with charming inhabitants. Now, this engaging virtual experience meets the real world in a brand-new way.

For a UK debut, the wildly popular Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which has sold over 46 million copies globally since its release in March 2020, joins forces with SEA LIFE UK for an exceptional live event. Thanks to this collaboration, visitors have the unique opportunity to explore fascinating marine wonders alongside familiar faces from the game.

Starting off at SEA LIFE Manchester on February 8th, 2025, this thrilling tour is set to make its way across the UK, stopping at SEA LIFE Birmingham, SEA LIFE Brighton, SEA LIFE London, and rounding off at Chessington World of Adventures Resort. It’s a real treat for fans of both SEA LIFE and Animal Crossing.

Merlin Entertainments, the global powerhouse behind SEA LIFE UK, which is also the largest aquarium network in the world, provides the perfect setting for this one-of-a-kind adventure. Their attractions, themed around diverse ecosystems such as the Atlantic, Arctic, Rainforest, and Tropics, showcase thousands of marine creatures in an enriching environment.

Catherine Pritchard, General Manager of SEA LIFE London Aquarium, expressed her excitement: “We’re absolutely thrilled about this unique experience we’re offering across several of our SEA LIFE locations. Guests will embark on an exciting journey with characters from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, all while surrounded by the incredible marine life that calls our attractions home—from Green Sea Turtles to Zebra Sharks. It’s bound to be a fun and memorable adventure for families and friends.”

Visitors will be guided through the ‘Sea Life Islands’, meeting beloved characters like Aurora and Octavian while learning about various sea creatures. A hands-on fossil dig uncovers the ancestors of today’s beloved marine life, and explorers will have the chance to track down Gulliver, who has mysteriously appeared on the island’s shores.

While on this adventure, guests can collect character stamps, uncover fascinating facts about sea life, and even meet Animal Crossing icons like Tom Nook and Isabelle. To top off their visit, fans can bring home exclusive Animal Crossing: New Horizons merchandise available at the aquarium store.
