Recently, Konami dropped a release date trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta, hinting at some exciting additions to this remake. While the specifics remain mysterious, the anticipation is palpable. Past versions, like Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence, really upped the ante with features like Metal Gear Online and classic throwbacks including Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.
Even though Konami hasn’t formally shouted about the summer release of Metal Gear Solid Delta from the rooftops yet, the trailer announcing the long-awaited date looks pretty legit. Originally hitting the shelves for PlayStation 2 in 2004, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater takes us back to the 1960s. As a prequel to the original Metal Gear, players step into the boots of Naked Snake, also known as Big Boss, who’s famously the antagonist in the first game of the series.
