In a similar vein, industry analyst Mat Piscatella has revealed which games topped the charts across all platforms in 2024, underscoring the validity of this approach.
In a detailed post on Bluesky, Piscatella shared a ranking of the top 20 games based on dollar sales in the U.S. for 2024. This comprehensive list includes both physical and digital sales from major platforms like Nintendo eShop, PlayStation, Steam, and Xbox, covering the period from December 30, 2023, to January 4, 2025.
