From fresh outfits and weapons to crafted spells and custom narratives, there’s a treasure trove of additions. Among these is a tantalizing teaser for a custom campaign that draws inspiration from World of Warcraft.
Enter ‘Forsaken,’ a custom campaign crafted by ‘SquallyDaBeanz.’ This intriguing mod promises to revive the Undead starting zone of Tirisfal Glades from World of Warcraft within Baldur’s Gate 3. Although this mod hasn’t hit the stage yet, a preview level is anticipated to give players a sneak peek. With the extensive creative possibilities already explored in Baldur’s Gate 3, this endeavor appears to offer a fresh twist.
The teaser for this modded campaign will transport players to the ‘Deathknell’ region, SquallyDaBeanz reveals via VideoGamer. Expect to embark on a few quests and interact with several new locations and encounters. You’ll find yourself leveling up to two in around 60 to 90 minutes. It’s a snippet of what’s envisioned to be a larger campaign down the road.
As SquallyDaBeanz mentions, while the visual design intends to mirror Tirisfal Glades, adapting the area from WoW to BG3 necessitates numerous modifications. The quests, encounters, and loot have all been tailored for Baldur’s Gate 3, so anticipate differences from the MMORPG original.
