To snag download games or demos and free software from the official Nintendo website, your Nintendo Account must be linked to your Switch console. Ensure your console is registered as the active download console by visiting the Nintendo eShop on your device at least once. For an uninterrupted, automatic download experience, make sure your system is updated, connected to the internet with automatic downloads enabled, and that there’s sufficient storage available.
