Microsoft has unveiled an exciting new feature for their Edge browser called Game Assist. This innovative addition, still in its preview phase, acts as an in-game browser designed to offer players handy tips and tricks directly while they play. You can easily get to this feature through the Game Bar.
According to Microsoft, a striking 88% of PC gamers tend to switch out of their game to seek advice or strategies on their web browser. Expanding on this, the company mentioned, “Our research reveals that 40% of PC gamers search for tips, guides, and other resources while in the middle of gameplay. Game Assist simplifies this process by bringing essential resources straight to your game whenever you open a new tab. The initial preview is currently available in English and supports some of the most popular PC titles, and we’re refining the service based on user feedback.”
Right now, Edge Game Assist is compatible with several major games, including Baldur’s Gate 3, Diablo 4, Fortnite, Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga, League of Legends, Minecraft, Overwatch 2, Roblox, and Valorant. Microsoft is clearly aiming to enhance the gaming experience by seamlessly integrating helpful content without disrupting gameplay.
