Patricia Summersett, familiar to fans as the voice behind Zelda in “Breath of the Wild,” “Tears of the Kingdom,” and “Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity,” has become a beloved figure in the gaming community. However, despite her pivotal role, Zelda hasn’t been a playable character in these epic adventures. That changed with “Echoes of Wisdom,” marking a significant moment for fans.
Recently, Summersett attended the Golden Joystick Awards, where she was approached by GamesRadar. They inquired about her thoughts on seeing Zelda as a playable character in a future open-world Zelda game. Summersett’s enthusiasm was evident when she responded, “Wouldn’t that be incredible? I’m thrilled that fans got to experience ‘Echoes of Wisdom,’ but in my opinion, we can always use more playable Zelda moments.”
